AMN Healthcare 2023 Registered Nurses Survey


Situation:

AMN Healthcare, the largest health care staffing agency in the U.S., conducted a survey of more than 18,000 registered nurses on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, and general sentiment about their careers. The survey focused on nurse satisfaction, mental health and well-being, along with insight on the need for comprehensive, multisectoral solutions to the challenges facing nursing. AMN Healthcare sought media attention to increase awareness of the survey findings and to position AMN Healthcare as thought leaders, and top-industry providers of workforce and employer solutions. 

 


Methodology:

Launch a coordinated campaign tied to Nurses Week/Month, pitching the comprehensive nursing survey as contemporary and highly credible analysis of staffing issues and challenges impacting the nursing industry to press and couple access to the report with access to AMN experts offering solution-oriented thought leadership.   

Results:

Direct outreach to publications and journalists specializing in nursing led to coverage in Reuters, CNN, Forbes, NPR, CBS News, NBC News and numerous trade health publications, including Becker’s ASC Review, State of Reform, Healthleaders Media, Fierce Health as well as syndication to numerous news sites.
