PVHMC offers $50 mammograms every April and October to improve access to breast cancer screening by removing the financial barrier.
Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center (PVHMC) offered $50 mammograms without a physician order or proof of insurance during Breast Cancer Awareness Month for women who met specific requirements. According to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, 1 in 8 women in the United States will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime. PVHMC is also one of the only hospitals in the region to offer the SmartCurve™ breast stabilization system, which is clinically proven to deliver a more comfortable mammogram.
