AltaMed Health Services Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) hosted a quinceañera, or 15th birthday celebration, for 30 of its participants in Santa Ana this month. The quinceañeras, all 55 years of age or older, never had an opportunity to celebrate this joyous occasion. A priest provided a blessing, which was followed by a celebration with music, dancing, and cake. For more than 25 years AltaMed PACE has provided the health and social services necessary to help seniors live independently in their communities. AltaMed has 11 PACE site locations that serve more than 4,500 seniors in 60 cities throughout Los Angeles and Orange counties.
